1. What data is processed?
1ProcentBeter processes only the data needed to support the app experience.
That can include daily action completions, streak and progress data stored locally on your device, and optional Apple Health context such as steps or workouts when you explicitly allow access.
It can also include local Brain Dump entries, scheduled notes, action reminders, One Step Mode settings, and widget snapshots used to show your current day.
A classic account is not required for the core experience.
2. Local-first storage
Personal data is stored locally on your device by default. There is no mandatory account or mandatory cloud sync for the main experience.
If iOS or Apple services sync anything through your own Apple environment, that is handled by Apple under its own policies.
3. Apple Health
Apple Health integration is fully optional and read-only. If you grant permission, the app may read steps and workouts to make progress easier to understand.
That data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not written back by the app.
4. Website analytics
If a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured, analytics loads only after you give permission in the consent notice. Without permission, the analytics script is not loaded.
After permission, page paths, broad device and browser information, referrer or campaign context, scroll depth, article and tool usage, and App Store button placement can be measured. We do not send names, email addresses, notes, reflections, or health information.
Google Analytics may use first-party analytics identifiers after consent. You can change your preference on this page. Google processes analytics data under its own terms and privacy documentation.
5. Third parties
We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.
Optional services such as the App Store, Apple Health, or social sharing providers operate under their own policies when you choose to use them.

1ProcentBeter is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice.
7. Your rights
You can contact hello@1procentbeter.nl if you have privacy questions.
Because most data is stored locally on your device, you can often remove it directly inside the app settings or by removing the app from your device.

If this policy changes in a significant way, the latest version will be published on this page.
